Yuniawati, S. Hut, M.Si  the keynote speaker from the Forest Engineering and Forest Products Harvesting research group said that a variety of science and technology has been produced in the field of engineering and harvesting of forest products. "Our sci-tech products are in good demand by business actors, one of which product is Wesyano, Exploitation Factor (FE) and Tree Length Logging", said Yuniawati while demonstrating the use of Wesyano tree diameter gauges.

Prof. Djarwanto, keynote speaker from Biology and Forest Products Preservation research group introducing the group’s selected innovations including Xylarium Bogoriense, automatic wood detection devices, Indonesian trade wood grouping, wood preservation technology, fungi utilization technology and insect utilization technology

"Xylarium Bogoriense, was built in 1914, is the largest Xylarium in the world with more than 193,000 specimens," said Djarwanto. Jamaludin Malik, S.Hut, M.Sc, Ph.D, from the Forest Product Utilization research group, provided information on the utilization of palm oil waste, wood adhesives from merbau wood extract, and bamboo lamina products.
